Review- All of Katie McGarry's work so far has received a full five star rating from me however Take Me On earned a 4.5/5 rating.  I wish I could say I enjoyed this one just as much as the other ones but I felt as if there was too much happening.

Saying, "Haley Williams hasn't had an easy life" is an understatement.  She has faced a tremendous amount of difficulties that has impact her family, future, and life.  West's life hasn't been so easy either; he believes he was born to save his dying sister and he has carried the burden of being a disappointment since birth.  Fortunately, they develop a relationship, both friendship and romantically, to lean on each other through their struggles.

While their love for each other was so sickly sweet, I felt as if the whole store was too dramatized.  I'm not belittling their problems; I just think the way the story was written and the amount of issues they dealt with, it was all too... much.  But that's just my opinion!  That's why the other half of the last star is lacking. This is a Katie McGarry book so obviously the story, relationships, writing, etc. are still swoon worthy!  I'd love to hear what you have to say about the story once you've read this book :)
